CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Issues with obtaining vital voter information, such as sample ballots and precincts, caused concern for some Tuesday morning as they went out to vote.South Carolina Election Commission spokesperson Sydni Bain confirmed reports of issues with the SCVotes website and said this was a result of an intermittent issue affecting specifically voter-facing features.Bain confirmed the website was otherwise operating normally.“We are working to increase the capacity of the system to handle the traffic on those features. We expect the issue to be resolved today,” Bain said. The website and its voter resource features appear to be operating normally once more, but users may experience some trouble if increased website traffic brings those tools back down.
