S.C. Election Commission website restored after outage issues

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Election Commission website crashed earlier today. The site tells voters where to cast their ballots. WIS was told the site came back up, then went down again after a reboot. The site was working again as of 11 a.m. Tuesday morning. Earlewood-area voters say they showed up at the wrong precinct. With the site down, they could not easily find their polling place. Conway Belangia with the Election Commission says if you are looking to see where you’re voting, you may not be able to find it.Headed out to vote? Belangia said you can check your county’s website for voting details. As of noon, the website appears to be running as normal.Feel more informed, prepared, and connected with WIS.
