BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Bulloch County Animal Services is inviting the community to celebrate national pet adoption week with an event to meet pets looking for loving homes. On Nov. 7 and Nov. 8, pets will be available for adoption at the shelter. The event will be hosted in partnership with the nonprofit Petco Love, featuring characters from Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s new full-length animated “The Cat in the Hat.”All adoptable pets will be available at the shelter, including several kittens. The adoption fee is $50 to adopt a dog and $30 to adopt a cat. Adopters need a valid state ID and be 18 years old or older. All pets come up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered. If the pet is not spayed or neutered, then they come with a voucher to get spayed or neutered for free.“We encourage our community to visit our shelter, open their hearts and discover the unconditional love and happiness that come from adopting a shelter pet,” the Bulloch County Animal Services team said.
